Fucking fantastic movie. I was actually kind of blown away by how much I love it. The art is beautiful, the story is fantastic, the dialogue is great, the characters are all memorable and distinct and it's an emotional roller coaster. Thoroughly captivating. I can't promote this movie enough, watch it.
Very simple and very satisfying. 1 main protagonist, 1 main antagonist and nothing is special about either of them. They aren't super human in anyway, in fact the protagonist has a significant disability, but it's not necessarily too gimmicky. The sound design and acting is all pretty darn good. There are less unrealistic situations in this film than in other similar films, and this one manages to make them more entertaining. It had just the right amount of everything. Not perfect, but it is good. 7.8/10
Personally I think it's about even with the first film in terms of quality of a movie. Dawn of the Dead was alright in its own way, but this feels like a completely different style of movie altogether, and I feel it works a lot better in many different ways. The pacing is a lot better, and the zombies don't look goofy and terribly unrealistic anymore (they looked pretty bad in Dawn, in Night of the Living Dead they looked fine because it was colorless). The effects are fantastic, the setting is pretty unique and Bub is probably my favorite zombie, that I can think of. A very memorable film, probably my favorite zombie film.
A very fun, cheesy horror film. I'm not a huge metal head myself, but I can appreciate a lot of the love that went into this movie. Definitely not boring.

I thought it was a good movie. Not great, but it had enough mystery behind it. Also Alice is the best character ever.
