Filmmaking at it’s most powerful! Nearly half a century old and it’s still one of the best horror movies ever

Kubrick was truly a cinematic genius. 2001 is one of the prime examples on why movies are one of the most unique artforms we humans have ever created. It demonstrates that cinema is much more than just a simple narrative, it's also an experience!

Not just the best TNG film, but also one of the best in the series!

Perhaps the best of the TOS films. It does a good job at delivering a decent environmental message without being too preachy

I can understand why some people won't like the way this film is structured, since it takes such a hugh 180 in the second half. To a point were it feels like you're watching two completely different films, but that is also one of the reasons why I love this movie! It is such a crazy genre-mix that should not have worked, and yet somehow it does. On par with 'Sin CIty' the best collaboration Tarantino and Rodriguez have ever had with each other.

Great story and wonderful performances and a moody score that you will remember forever! One of the best horror-films of the 90's.

Brilliant and thought provoking satire on the media and how televison has changed our soceity and the way we view the world. Fantastic screenplay and performances, as well as some of the best monologs you will probaly ever hear in a movie.

Without a doubt one of the best and most important films of the 70's

A film which demonstrates that being fast paced does not automatically equal good. The constant in your face action, ADD-editing and lack of coherent storytelling, made it feel more like a giant video game cut-scene than an actual movie. Easily the worst of the series

The Wachowskis must have taken some inspiration from this when they made Cloud Atlas
