obviously this film is not Sunset Blvd, it would be silly that the same director made the same movie twice ajaja but is like a spiritual sequel with a lot of similar elements. I love the plot twist <3
incredible film <3 Valeria is very sensitive and interested in subjects like romanticism of machism and tv soup operas. A magic movie, filmed in Valparaíso-Chile post dictatorship
This film is very important because shows to the world the horrors of the military dictatorship in Chile. In the 80's everything shown in this movie the fascists want to hide it. Great work of Costa Gavras, an incredible and fearless director. Very impressive art work too
this was garbage, nonsense film with a stupid plot. Gaspar Noé's ideas are like an incel twelve years old mind. The conversation parts dialogues are the most stupid and basic thing i've ever seen in a film. The only two good things was the sound design and the opening dance scene
this film is a tribute to Jean Vigo by Claire Denis, Raúl Ruiz, Costa-Gravas, Abbas Kiarostami, Catherine Breillat, Raymond Depardon, Parviz Kimiavi and Pavel Lungin
this film is so so good. Glauber Rocha does an allegory of the brazilian dictatorship and the internal contradictions of the bourgeois. In my opinion he is the best brazilian director. I love the way he structure his histories, with a lot of digressions and jumps of times, with an incredible cinematography and editing
the end is so sad, i cried like a baby, fucking italian fascists. I had never noticed the resemblance between William Dafoe and Pasolini, is really impressive in this film at least
me parece insólito que nadie más haya visto esta película, por lo menos la gente de Chile debería verla porque es de suma importancia histórica. Además la fotografía es hermosa, casi todos los planos parecen una pintura
