I'm dying to see this movie. Maria Goretti is such a beautiful soul. She's my patron saint, and she gives me endless inspiration as a Catholic teen living a chaste life. God bless you, Maria. ♥
I must admit that although I really did enjoy Twilight, this movie was incredibly cheesy. The script was very cliche, and everyone seemed to whine ALL THE TIME. I adore Edward, but the movie depicted his as very whiny and annoying. As anyone who's seen the movie would know, Bella is incredibly pathetic, and in this movie, we get to see the very extent. When Edward leaves her, she becomes suicidal and loses the very little personality she once had.
A lot of people seem to be dumping on this movie, but I really liked it. Watching gave me an extra ounce of respect for Ashton Kutcher as an actor because it showed that he can play more than just his usual slapstick idiot role. There were some really sad parts during the beginning of the movie when it showed scenes from his childhood. I was rather disturbed by the burning dog. The movie was interesting, though, and I didn't expect that ending. I really enjoyed it!
Eh, the modernization was a bit too much for me. If you want Shakespeare, watch the 1968 version. This one was a bit too zany. I thought it was creative that they modernized it but still kept the language, but it didn't quite work for this movie. Leonardo DiCaprio did a very good job, though. But then again, the 1968 version had great actors as well, and they were better looking.
I loved this movie! Beautifully done, and it manages to really capture the Shakespearean feel in ways that the Leonardo DiCaprio modernized version didn't. Stays very true to the play, and it made me cry. Amazing movie!
It was good. My one complaint was that a lot of the songs weren't very melodic or catchy. In most classic musicals, you have that theme song that everyone knows, whether they've seen the movie or not. In this movie, you don't get that, but it's still very good!
Something tells me this is why so many people suffer from coulrophobia. The movie itself was a joke, not at all scary...but Pennywise the Dancing Clown could make a grown man shit himself.
Amazing movie! One of my all-time favourites, and it makes me cry every time. One of the few movie adaptations that actually lives up to the expertise of the novel. I repeat, amazing!
I'm a huge Tim Burton fan, and I really enjoyed this movie. Somewhat reminded me of Labyrinth (my all-time favourite!), but unfortunately, no movie can exceed that. ;)

Kinda weird. I really thought Dracula looked much more like a cat than a vampire. Good, though.Movie comment on The Princess Bride
