Best rock 'n' roll movie ever. Thoroughly entertaining from start to finish. I can't understand why I hadn't heard more about this movie or why so few people have seen it. It should be on every list covering music films.
The actual director is Ewan McGregor, not Phillip Noyce. McGregor does a fine job. The problems with the movie are all of the plot holes and the ridiculous dialog.
I really wanted to like this movie. An interesting premise and great scenes of Iceland but two of the least interesting lead characters I've ever seen in a movie.
A great documentary. Should be required viewing for all US college students, university and college faculty and staff, and alumni. Do you know your college's practices and record on dealing with sexual assault?
I love both Robert Duvall and Robert Downey, Jr. but this was one of the most boring movies I have seen. Would have benefited from being at least 20 minutes shorter. They didn't seem to know when to end it.

Absolutely amazing that this film was made in Cuba in 1962 not long after the revolution. A unique look at the country and the people.Movie comment on The Death of Stalin

Incredible waste of a great cast. This movie had so much potential but it could not figure out whether it wanted to be a comedy or a history lesson.Movie comment on Chuck Berry Hail! Hail! Rock 'n' Roll

Such a disservice to Jesse Owens. Bad writing and inaccuracies. I need to search for a good documentary on Jesse Owens and the 1936 Olympics.Movie comment on American Pastoral
