I knew before watching this film that it was going to be terrible but I sacrificed an hour and a half of my life anyway. To be honest I just did it for the awful title and and the promise of horses and ranches and at least those were present.
Still, I would not recommend. Unless you have the same low standards as I obviously do have. To end this on a positive note: Rodeo is the name of the horse, and thank god, not of the guy. That would have made it truly unbearable.
Definitely not the best horror film I ever saw. I haven't seen many, but this one barely had any tension and I wasn't scared at all, not even a little.
The ending was a bit of an anti-climax, too.
I think there is a lot of potential in this story and it is quite interesting, but there was just something lacking in the film itself, in my opinion.
I watched this movie on the air plane and it was so difficult not to laugh out loud at the ridiculous and over-the-top humour. I absolutely loved it! I really liked how the movie and the storyline weren't taken seriously, they were mocking themselves. The cameo was awesome and so unexpected.
Maybe it is not a funny movie for everyone, but for me it was an incredible and easy amusement.
Watched this film without any ideas of what it might be. It turned out to be quite fun and interesting.
The ending was a bit vague and short, but I think it was really wonderful as well. It definitely made me laugh.
Very intriguing movie. I love how it just shows a part of the life of these two people, it isn't a story with a clear beginning and end, it is more of a flash.
I also agree with The_Claw, I think it is refreshing to see a teacher who isn't changing a whole class into 'better people', or however you would like to phrase that. I mean, he tries to learn them something new, something he thinks is important, but that isn't the point in this movie. Besides that, the acting is magnificent.
When I first saw this movie I absolutely loved it. It got me interested in the books and after having read those, I rewatched The Hunger Games. Now I see that the book is far better than the movie, but I honestly did not expect otherwise, since this is the case in most book-to-movie adaptations. What was lacking, in my opinion, was focus on the relationships between the characters. Especially the ones Katniss has with Peeta and Cinna. They seem rather flat and meaningless at times, while there is so much going on and it is all way more complicated and deep than appears in the movie. I do understand that is rather difficult to show those relationships the way they are, because the real information is in Katniss's thoughts and we do not get to see that now. Gale's part seems pretty random too, his real bond with Katniss isn't really expressed. Besides these problems I have with the movie, I do think that the cast is wonderful and the actors portray their characters very well. To me they really are their characters. I'm really curious to see the other movies and how they are going to tell such a difficult and layered story in such limited time.
Ellen Page was amazing, I loved her in Juno and I'm looking forward to seeing her in other movies too. She was very convincing, in my opinion.
I agree with caley, Drew Barrymore is not my favorite actress either, but I actually liked her part in Whip It.
The movie was great in my opinion. I wouldn't mind seeing again. It was really enjoyable.
Phenomenal perfomances! This movie is magnificent in every possible way. I am very interested in Stanley's and Stella's relationship. It shows a dark, unhealthy and abusive side of love.
I did not watch the movie until I had finished the book. I prefer the book, but I think they did an amazing job adapting it to the screen.
The movie is gorgeous and I think Vivien Leigh was an excellent Scarlett O'Hara.
Most people strongly dislike Scarlett, but I love her, for some kind of reason. Too bad they made her seem an even worse character in the movie, than how she is shown in the book.
Still, this movie is one of my all time favorites.
This movie broke my heart. It is such a perfect movie, there are outstanding performances, especially by James McAvoy, a great soundtrack and beautiful colours and cinematography.
When I read the book afterwards, I was amazed by how well the novel was adapted to screen, they stayed very true to the novel. This is probably the best novel to screen adaption I have ever seen.
When people talk about how much they love Titanic, they only ever seem to mention how great the love story is. Normally I would agree on that, being as romantic as I am, but I think the most important part is the sinking part. It is heartbreaking to see all these people who are trying to save themselves or people who just give up and try to accept the inevitable.
To me, this part outweighs the whole love story, and for this part alone, I think Titantic is worth every minute you spend watching it.
What I love about this movie, is how everybody today still knows the words to the songs. I 'over-watched' this movie, so I am not a big fan of it any more, but every now and then I get the urge to watch it again.
This movie was not flawless and I really considered to stop watching during the first 30 minutes. But after that, I really started to enjoy it, until I fell in love with it. Although some of the song are really annoying.
Apperently a lot of people think this movie isn't all that great, at least that is my conclusion after reading the comments, but I loved it. No masterpiece, I'll admit that, but it was very enjoyable and I think I could watch this movie over and over again.
I did not know that Gerard Butler was in PotO until the movie started. I loved him, and it was great to see him play a completely different character than the ones I have seen him play so far.
The costumes were gorgeous and Emmy Rossum sang beautifully. I would love to see the musical.
