And the makeup, props, prosthetics on the numerous characters, the fancy bikes, the war rig and other vehicles, the GUITAR, the DRUMS, the POLE VAULTS ... Can just go on and on ... Memorable characters !!! Unforgettable moments !!!

The edit patterns are very interesting and present the tale in a non-linear yet clear manner. The lines are philosophical and mostly conversations within the self.

There is a powerful, well-connected enemy, who has weird ideas on taking control of Earth, and the Kingsmen have to stop him at any cost !!!
Entertainment is the keyword here. The film doesn't take itself seriously and intends to just give us a good fun time. The male lead actors, the interestingly over-the-top Samuel Jackson and the boyish charmer Taron Egerton, make it work to an extent despite the tacky visuals and over-the-top stunts, imagery. The extensive training scenes and the interactions between Harry and Eggsy are the better parts of the movie, no doubt. The way Samuel has portrayed his character and his overall look, attire and accent prove his capabilities to be versatile even after all these years.
Colin Firth, Mark Strong and Michael Caine as the senior statesmen are bankable as ever but seeing the gentlemanly Colin indulge in cool stunts (like Statham) is so not happening !!! The twist with Michael Caine also didn't fit in.
You will sometimes enjoy the over-the-top, stylized treatment particularly in the climax ruckus and in the church scene.
But the IMDB rating of 8.3 is a huge stretch. Go with low expectations and you will be entertained quite often ...

Brilliant performances by the galaxy of stars in the film. An engaging fare for sure. And lastly, no two opinions about the pulsatingly FAB drums score by Antonio Sanchez. Brilliant and mood-setting ...

He particularly takes up the cause of helpless innocent Muslims who are branded as terrorists and are shut in jail with long terms, primarily due to their religion. Shahid braves threats and makes do with no or little fees, and comes across as an ethical, sensible and totally honest lawyer. He also has to grapple with the ensuing domestic issues.
Rajkumar gives life to Shahid on screen and is dynamic with his wide range of skills as an actor. Deservingly honored with awards for this portrayal. The court scenes brim with gripping drama, particularly the one towards the climax.
A good film overall which makes an emotional connect due to the subject ...

Later, he is increasingly consumed by life as a sniper.
The film has some gripping war scenes shot very well with the required finesse and production values. Fizzles out towards the end, and finishes on a sad and patriotic note.
Hawaa Hawaai is yet another addition to Amole Gupte's innocent little films 'for children' and 'of children', after the memorable Stanley Ka Dabba and the classic Taare Zameen Par (which he wrote).
Hawaa Hawaai is an underdog tale about a child laborer at a Mumbai tea stall, who dreams of becoming a skating champ. He is helped by his fellow child laborer friends and a passionate young skating coach, in his quest for glory.
Though the film gets mushy, melodramatic and manipulative, it has its heart in the right place and has good intent. The skating championship finale has been well-shot despite the over sentimentality.
Actors Partho Gupte, Saqib Saleem and all the cute child actors deliver the goods just fine. A few memorable songs could have added more to the final output.

They go from one dangerous mission to the other, against the Nazis in their own land. The crew also comprises a rookie, who is thrown into the battle field and picks up the ropes slowly but surely.
The film is packed with tremendous battle sequences, lots of raw emotions, scenes of team bonding and enjoyable war-lingo and nicknames. The music score is haunting and mood-setting, and the filming and detailing are as real as it can get. Brad Pitt lords over all his scenes, while the other main support actors fit the bill well.

He has a troubled marriage, a lot of family issues with his dad (a judge) and is known to run away from troubles and problems. He confronts all these on his return, and also has to help his father out of a legal tangle related to murder. A family drama - legal drama rolled into one, and by the end, our lawyer sorts things out and makes peace with himself and those around.
Good performances by the lead actors. Robert Downey Jr. is typically stylish and sophisticated in his performance, and scores in the emotional scenes. Veteran Robert Duvall shows all his years of experience in his authoritative show as the falling judge and frustrated leader of the family.
Vera Farminga and the other actors playing the brothers add more acting points to the movie.

The way they deal with their medical conditions and the unconditional love and care from their families is another marked aspect of the film.
The gloriously talented Shailene Woodley and the naturally charming Ansel Elgort are the heart and soul of the film and make it work beautifully. They have to be among the most epic pairs in recent memory. Nat Wolff is the other impressive actor on view.

The BGM score is totally in line with the movie's tense and dark theme and adds to the experience. Typical David Fincher stuff ... The movie does have its fair share of sex, making-out scenes and blood, which have been toned down in theaters.
An endearing 'coming of age' story of a high school kid who lives in the moment and doesn't have much concept about the future. He is liked by all but has his own insecurities and fears.
He befriends an interesting but private girl and his life gradually changes for the better. Both of them have domestic issues and help each other out. The girl is just so unconditionally in love with him.
'Natural' Miles Teller and 'Goody Goody' Shailene Woodley make it work.
Cool one .. predictable romance flick about friends gradually turning into life partners, but neat presentation .. The animated touches were good ... But nowhere as intense as say '500 days of summer'

A maverick FBI agent arm-twists 2 con artists to work for him and stage an elaborate sting operation, targeting some of the big-shot politicians and mobsters in the city. What happens to these principal players at the end of it all, is the crux of the plot.
All the actors are FAB (Bradley Cooper, with a curled hair-do leads the merit list), the music is classy, the period detailing, costumes and styling are authentic (Christian Bale's makeover and shades are top-notch).
Of course, we get to see a lot of the sensual Amy Adams' tiny boobs and the brilliant Jennifer Lawrence at her dynamic, eccentric best.
I'll say it is an exotic drama where there is a lot of scheming, passion, romance, lust and entertainment. I was riveted to the action.
This time, the two youthful cops go undercover to a college to bust out the drug racket, the same 'infiltrate the dealer and find the supplier' routine ..
Plenty of male bonding, bromance (bordering on gay), scenes of college fun, some romance and an entertaining finale in Mexico packed with action. The end credits is totally hilarious and closes the movie on a big high.
More expected from Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and the super-funny Ice Cube (what an accent, language) in the coming parts ..
After a sniper takes out 5 victims, Jack Reacher, a former army man and an ace investigator, arrives at the scene to work on the case and expose the actual criminals and their motives.
One James Barr is set-up and taken into police custody and Jack, along with lawyer Helen, goes about collecting the required data and evidence to nab the perpetrators.
A mighty interesting watch thanks to the intelligence in the investigation process and of course the presence of the perennially charming Tom Cruise and the sexy,beautiful Rosamund Pike.
But Tom appeared too goody and decent to pass off as this badass army man who can win a brawl even when outnumbered and outmatched physically. Jason Statham would have been the best fit for this role.

The idea clinches it!Ellar Coltrane and Lorelei Linklater must feel so nostalgic seeing themselves on screen, from the stage of being kids to teens ... We have the Linklater constant Ethan Hawke adding his brand of charm as the dad. Nice soundtrack too ... The movie has some lovely dialogues which are so realistic and natural.

A touching love story between two young cancer patients who have different conditions and hit it off instantly after meeting up at a support group .. There is an endearing friendship angle as well, with another young retinoblastoma patient.The way they deal with their medical conditions and the unconditional love and care from their families is another marked aspect of the film.
The gloriously talented Shailene Woodley and the naturally charming Ansel Elgort are the heart and soul of the film and make it work beautifully. They have to be among the most epic pairs in recent memory. Nat Wolff is the other impressive actor on view.
The eulogies in the end are heart-melting stuff. A worthy watch

Heavily dialog driven and may startle audiences, particularly towards the end. Eng subs needed for full-justice.
The BGM score is totally in line with the movie's tense and dark theme and adds to the experience. Typical David Fincher stuff ... The movie does have its fair share of sex, making-out scenes and blood, which have been toned down in theaters.

An endearing 'coming of age' story of a high school kid who lives in the moment and doesn't have much concept about the future. He is liked by all but has his own insecurities and fears.He befriends an interesting but private girl and his life gradually changes for the better. Both of them have domestic issues and help each other out. The girl is just so unconditionally in love with him.
'Natural' Miles Teller and 'Goody Goody' Shailene Woodley make it work.

Cool one .. predictable romance flick about friends gradually turning into life partners, but neat presentation .. The animated touches were good ... But nowhere as intense as say '500 days of summer'Still a decent watch for the hopeless romantics and those looking to beat loneliness. The lead cast and the main support actors were good.

If THE CONJURING was among the best horror thrillers in recent times, this one has to be among the weakest of the lot
Follows the satanic cult, blood, possession, doll, demon, soul sacrifice routine. Expected much much more.
The experience in the theater was lowkey. Audiences were busy commenting and mocking the film. Pretty low fear factor
Only good part was the Eng subs, which aided the talkie portions. The loud sound design tried its best to jolt you out

A maverick FBI agent arm-twists 2 con artists to work for him and stage an elaborate sting operation, targeting some of the big-shot politicians and mobsters in the city. What happens to these principal players at the end of it all, is the crux of the plot.All the actors are FAB (Bradley Cooper, with a curled hair-do leads the merit list), the music is classy, the period detailing, costumes and styling are authentic (Christian Bale's makeover and shades are top-notch).
Of course, we get to see a lot of the sensual Amy Adams' tiny boobs and the brilliant Jennifer Lawrence at her dynamic, eccentric best.
I'll say it is an exotic drama where there is a lot of scheming, passion, romance, lust and entertainment. I was riveted to the action.

This time, the two youthful cops go undercover to a college to bust out the drug racket, the same 'infiltrate the dealer and find the supplier' routine ..Plenty of male bonding, bromance (bordering on gay), scenes of college fun, some romance and an entertaining finale in Mexico packed with action. The end credits is totally hilarious and closes the movie on a big high.
More expected from Jonah Hill, Channing Tatum and the super-funny Ice Cube (what an accent, language) in the coming parts ..

After a sniper takes out 5 victims, Jack Reacher, a former army man and an ace investigator, arrives at the scene to work on the case and expose the actual criminals and their motives.One James Barr is set-up and taken into police custody and Jack, along with lawyer Helen, goes about collecting the required data and evidence to nab the perpetrators.
A mighty interesting watch thanks to the intelligence in the investigation process and of course the presence of the perennially charming Tom Cruise and the sexy,beautiful Rosamund Pike.
But Tom appeared too goody and decent to pass off as this badass army man who can win a brawl even when outnumbered and outmatched physically. Jason Statham would have been the best fit for this role.
