I really like the idea of selecting and adopting new official lists. One of the main things that I use the site for (in addition to checking movies as I see them) is that I actually use the top lists to help me decide which movies to watch. If something is on a lot of top lists, then I figure I should see it before I die! It's also great for learning about a new genre or era of film, and having more of them to choose from would be wonderful!
This one took a little while to get "off the ground" (HA!), but was quite enjoyable after that. I still wonder if there might have been one too many subplots, but I also suspect each of us might pick a different one to cut. Helen Hayes was great in her Oscar winning role!
The entire planet's climate changes and millions of people die, but by all means let's focus on one family's story of reunification. As if that's not the kind of small-scale thinking that got us into this situation to begin with.
Some early screenings to Thatcher's family members and members of her conservative party complained that the film focused too much on dementia. However, Phyllida Lloyd used these scenes to make the movie more accessible to people who may not share Thatcher's conservative politics, and it made the character relatable for me in a way that might not have been possible if it had only been a platform for her ideology.
For free users that are complaining about only being able to create one personal list of our own, note that there is a new feature where we are able to favorite other user's personal lists. In time, I suspect that most of the lists we would want to make will show up here, making the issue moot.

Chances are pretty good that the NSA is spying on iCheckMovies also, so if I'm going to check this off, I might as well mark it as a favorite too.Movie comment on In Golf We Trust
