I used to write plot twists like that in mid school essays.

Scrolling down the ‘All shorts on iCM’-list, binge watching these Lumière-shorts, makes me wonder if I live my life to the fullest.

On a different note – what do you guys rate these obscure Lumière films on Imdb? After a certain amount, you stop appreciating their historical merit, right?

Sadly, all good things must come to an end. Hopefully Marijn will get help from a few good contributors in order to run a tight ship, but I fear the day when this site turns into a ghost town.

Thank you, I love iCM.

Lee Marvin sure loves his bourbon! Not a huge fan of the military strategies on display here, to be honest, but the script is well written and the politics is believable and truly engaging.

An incoherent, recycled series of formulaic scares. The first Paranormal installment had novelty - this has nothing.

A joyful homage to several of the horror masters, and genuinely creepy throughout.

A beautifully poignant, enigmatic experience. Probably impossible to decipher fully, and probably not meant to be, either.

Avant-garde twaddle: as aesthetically insignificant as it is intellectually dull.

Not what I hoped for. I guess the repetitiveness is just too... repetitive for me. The soundtrack, though, is intriguing.
