An astounding, but painful piece of film. Nerve wracking and heartbreaking from start to finish. Probably an early Oscar Contender for this year.

Yes, it beat Raging Bull and yes, time hasn't been kind to it, but I found this film excellent. It was brilliantly acted and brilliantly cast. Timothy Hutton's performance is unforgettable.
