Un film intéressant avec une résonnance morale et philosphique. La mise en scène, les décors, les costumes et les acteurs talentueux créent une athmosphere prenante.
On rit, on est ému, on est en tout cas dedans du début à la fin. Un superbe film porté par d'excellents acteurs.
Louis Garrel est impecable en tout point, comme réalisateur et comme acteur.
Pas vraiment aimé ce film. La réalisation est bonne et les acteurs plutôt convaincants dans l'ensemble, il y a du rythme et le réalisateur est convaincu de son film.
Mais l'histoire est assez simpliste, manque de profondeur. J'ai trouvé que le film avait des relents religieux sortis de nulle part (le bébé devient le messie d'un nouveau monde) et surtout que le commentaire social n'est basé sur rien, pas approfondi.
Le film veut dénoncer la façon dont les pays occidentaux traitent leurs immigrés ? Pourquoi pas, mais je le trouve assez mal fait. Gros manque de profondeur à mon goût.
Excellent film, performances très justes de tous les acteurs et particulièrement Virginie Efira, qui nous emmène dans sa recherche, sa reconstruction après l’enfer et nous captive entièrement.
J’ai été très touchée et je recommande chaudement ce très beau film.

It was a lonely night of 2017, the wind was blowing and the snow was snowing. I had just texted my best friend "hey, wanna watch A christmas prince at my place" and she replied with a gif of Marion Cotillard dying in Batman, so my acute powers of deduction led me to believe that it was a no.
I then texted my boyfriend "hey handsome, wanna watch A christmas prince with me?". He replied "No, because I have testicules."
I then realised that I would have to watch this movie alone. And I did. And it was awful. And I wish I didn't.
So the moral of the story kids is, don't watch A Christmas Prince.
