Jason Statham on a revenge rampage. Couldn't have asked for anything more than what I got. Turn off your brain and you will be entertained.

I'm watching all the Mission Impossible films with my soon-to-be 13 year old kid and while the first one hasn't aged well, it still had its charm as a spy movie and a nice introduction to the Ethan Hunt character.

So we continue the series. What a load of sh*t the sequel is. I might have enjoyed it in 2000 when I was 16, being an action horny teenager (and also Thandie Newton horny), but watching this +20 years later , EVERYTHING about MI2 is horrible. The story, acting, plot, pace, action sequences, fight choreography, character development ... I give this movie of a sh*t show a 3/10 and I look forward forget about this movie as soon as possible and rush to the 3rd installment which, in my memory, was actually a pretty decent movie.

Utter garbage.

I find it incredible, considering David O. Russell's non-impressive filmography, why so many A-listers are so keen on working with him (and more often than once).

This is his worst film and that says a lot since he has so many stinkers. I kind of only watched it because it was in the airplane's in-flight entertainment system and it was a 5 1/2 hours flight, so nothing better to do. But what I should have done was to watch The Banshees of Inisherin twice.

I had the biggest smile on my face for the majority of the movie. What a rollercoaster ride that was.

Just watched this again after 15-20 years since my last watch. I thought it was good then as a 20 year old but this time around it was great, absolutely fantastic, one of film history's true masterpieces.

Watching this for the first time in probably 21-22 years. Saw it a few times as a teenager when it was new but now as an adult reaching 40, I for the first time got the message and the hints in the first half about the Nazi propaganda. When I was a kid, I just saw it as a goofy comedy-turned-war movie and liked it as such but didn't realize what a masterpiece of a story this film is.

Absolutely brilliant, loved every minute of it. Wish I could watch it again with fresh eyes and experience it all-over.

Ironically, just as boring as RENT.

I fell asleep twice, which made it actually bearable. My 10 year old liked it though, but he likes everything with giant robots or Godzillas in it and this had both.

I have been going through some of my childhood classics with my 10 year old for the past few months like Jurassic Park, Back to the Future, Titanic, Armageddon etc and yesterday night was Independence Day night.

He of course liked it a lot and I could see he was genuinely interested and excited, but nothing compared to me! This is one of my all time guilty pleasures, have seen this movie probably between 20-30 times since I was first blown away in the cinema as a 12 year old. While some of my childhood classics like Armageddon, are so bad they automaticaly become good, this one is just pure awesomeness through and through. Never gets old.

One of my favorite movies of all time and has been since I was just a little kid and have seen it countless times. I'm 36 now and just watched it for the first time with my 9 year old who loved it. He will be watching it again ... for many years to come.

On to the sequels ....

I'm Icelandic and I approve of this movie. I have a strong feeling Ja Ja Ding Dong will become the national anthem of Iceland before 2020 ends.

I had the unique opportunity to experience Inception again in a cinema 10 years after its release yesterday evening, as the local cinema chain here is warming up with a Nolan marathon before Tenet will be premiered.

In 2010 I went twice to the cinema to see Inception and was completely blown away both times. Then 10 years pass and I didn't see it again until yesterday.

Needless to say, the movie magic is still there. What a cinema experience! There were some plot points that I found to be a bit incoherent but I fully realize that might just be my own stupidity instead of Nolan's storytelling. The score I also found to be overly dramatic and a tad distracting at times. But all in all, this is Nolan's masterpiece and last decade's greatest film.

Bring It On has been one of my most pleasurable guilty pleasures for 20 years now. Eliza Dushku ... oh man!

That was fantastic! Sure, it was slow at times and a tad predictable, but overall a great story, great direction, great performances and interesting cinematography with long uninterrupted shots.

Billy Bob is such a fine actor and he has had an interesting career, but he has never received the respect nor the status that he deserves. He should have had done more of his own stuff because clearly he has the skills.

My god, was this boring or what? By far the best thing in this movie was California Dreamin' but when it came on for the sixth time, it became frustratingly annoying.

The only problem I had with this film is that it was way too short. I wanted more!

Great film and it deserves to be on several lists.

Hi. In the beta, where can you see the date of where you checked a specific movie? I can't seem to find that. For me, that's a very important feature to be able to track back how long I have seen this or that movie.

An absolute gem of a film. Flawless animation and different but refreshing style. Great story once it properly starts and the songs are both memorable and fun.

That was a damn fine movie, very enjoyable and fantastically well made. I was totally drawn into the story and as a non-Brit I think that says something.

A collaboration of two of my absolute favorite icons in cinema, Clint Eastwood and Tom Hanks, was like a dream finally coming true. I was going to see this film no matter what and I knew somehow I was going to love it. Well, it somehow exceeded my expectations.

The film's non-linear narrative is well done, going back and forward in time, giving the story more weight. It's difficult to make a film about one event that took only 208 seconds so of course there is a lot of other material added to the story but it's all there to make it more human, to show Sully as a normal man "just doing his job" and being overwhelmed by the events and it's aftermath. The actual crash is so well executed and it can be seen from different perspectives and is extremely tense every time, despite knowing the outcome.

The film is well directed as can be expected from a highly acclaimed director and veteran such as Eastwood and the cast is just flawless. Tom Hanks is such a fine actor, the modern day Jimmy Stewart, how can you not love that guy? A genuinely good person and down to earth guy that always gives his best. Aaron Eckhart (and his mustache) does his best performance since his breakthrough role Thank You For Smoking.

Definitely in my top 5 2016 list.

It was missing a totally unnecessary scene of a naked Alice Eve. Pity.

They don't make them anymore like they made them in the 80's.

Arnold in top form, over-the-top action machine gun craziness, fun characters and memorable one-liners make this the perfect film to watch with good friends on a Friday night.

Watched this for the first time and became an instant favorite.

The dialogue, the acting, the story is nothing short but a wonderful piece of art. By far Chaplin's most mature work.

All those one-liners made it worth the watch.

Edit: Watched it for the 2nd time in 2022 and I laughed at the same one-liners. I like it, it's a funny brainless action-packed thriller.
