The animal cruelty is horrible but I really don't think the rest of the film is that bad. Surprised nobody's commented on how great/juxtapositioned the majority of the soundtrack is.

Well worth watching for the infamous spike scene and unique soundtrack alone, if not for its slightly blatant attacks on western society.
