Good movie. A remake only in spirit this movie takes you on a thrill ride from the first scene to last. The cars, the stunts and acting are all good. It shouldn't even be compared to the first. The original Italian Job had a lot more substance and a different point to make. This one was just having fun.

A lot better than expected. The writing was OK and I liked the whole turning on each other to save themselves. The ending was actually great. The CGI was terrible but this movie knew what it was and had fun with it. 6/10.

I too am a sucker for mythology and swords and adventure, but I don't understand how people didn't like it. You can't really screw up a movie with Liam Neeson, Ralph Fiennes and Bill Nighy.

Brilliant Gangster movie. Michael Caine is sublime. The remake never even got in the same continent as this movie's coolness and badassery.

really feels like a hammed up remake of the 1931 version, which is sad because the cast made it seem like it was gonna be great but it never gets there.

One of the best war movies out there. Richard Harris and Charlton Heston were on fire.

Brilliant movie. Yea it was formulaic, but it ups the ante a lot. Definitely stands toe to toe with The Good The Bad and The Ugly and comes out better on some points. The cinematography and the camera work are great as is the acting and the action.

Great campy fun. Any fan of the old horror movies would enjoy this and the special effects were really good for 1981.

The best thing about Hitchcock films is the humor. This film does not disappoint. The most disturbing of his films i think, but I feel if he had not been censored all of his films would have had more violent nature.

Brilliant story. Fritz infuses a little Poe into this noir. The whole movie is a set up for the end which has surprising results. Definitely holds up the infallible rule of melodrama, what comes up must inevitability come crashing down. Edward G. Robinson gives a great performance as a man obsessed with a younger woman and driven to desperate measures by that obsession.

Not nearly as bad as I thought. The action is decent and the dialog isn't too campy. The effects are good too. If you're gonna watch a Sy Fy movie this one doesn't suck.

Just because you don't get it doesn't mean it isn't great. This movie is a great tribute to all those 50s horror movies.
