An enlightening way to show the effects social media has on the young people of the world, however, the ending fell flat. It could have been written in a much more impactful way that could make you FEEL something before the end credits rolled.
The only part I remember liking was when Pete Davidson punched the other guy in the face when they were playing the game. Laughed my ass off. Other than that, this film was pretty terrible.
The "audition" scene featuring a few known celebs was the only part I enjoyed about this 3rd installment of the Clerks flicks -- although seeing Elias getting out of his car while whistling again made me laugh a bit. The film overall just wasn't as funny/entertaining as the first 2 and I walked away from it fairly disappointed.
Yikes. This film was terribly directed and edited. Even put the wrong names for Zach and Cody under their faces during the skype/zoom call. The people in charge of making this film just didn't seem to care to make it as perfect as they possibly could.
The story is incredibly predictable too. It's not even remotely close to a solid "whodunnit" mystery. It was obvious from the start who "Truth and Lies" was.
The only shining star is the actress who plays the main role, Taylor. (Emily Tennant) Not a bad actress at all -- just apart of a bad script/film.
One of the biggest surprises for me personally as I didn't expect to love this film at all, but I do. If you enjoy dumb comedy and can laugh at the little things, this movie is great for that. Adam Devine is PERFECT for the main role here. Rose Byrne is the voice of Jexi and is completely hilarious. I recommend giving it a shot!
I unfortunately had to turn this movie off half-way through. Not my cup of tea at all. Great cast, but didn't get the concept and it completely bored me.
