Pretty good compared to similar documentaries, as this one at least tries to respect Christians and their faith and does not conclude with biased or insulting generalizations based on a single issue.
It shows some brief glimpses of court footage and some scenes of the three founders during the the period of their trials. That's about it. Hardly any background or additional information is provided to the viewer.
I'd say more than decent :-) The pace, dialogue and acting is very good. The special effects and the mood are, too. This one is very entertaining, and gladly, not as annoying as many other 50's Sci-Fi movies. Not annoying at all.
A sequel to this film was premiered live on television, starring the young Lillian Gish (1920's) and the old Lillian Gish (1980's). It was a miracle! I believe it was titled "The Two Orphans" like the Theda Bara film.
However, at the very same time of the live broadcast, another much anticipated silent film was premiering at a theater. I attended the theater and ended up watching both films at the same time by taking a portable television with me. After a couple of minutes I figured the Gish film was more interesting and I ignored the theater film.
Only worth watching for those with a particular interest. It's a typical cliffhanger serial (just look at that amazing cover image), but not a very good one at that. I wonder if Rin-Tin-Tin would regret this production.
@Dieguito
Too religious? This is a movie about the Old Testament, what do you expect? The same thing could be said about LotR: too much fantasy! Yes, it's all fantasy, but the execution and story are terrific and highly enjoyable, even though I do not believe in elves and wizards. I don't even believe 99% of the story of Moses. The Ten Commandments is, compared to others, not even that preachy. Even if it were, I does not mean it would kill the movie. Many propaganda films like Triumph des Willens and the Russian classics are well regarded because they are well made, not because we support their cause or agree with their message.
Awesome movie, and the division of the sea is one of the most amazing moments in special effects ever. And the story, I guess any writer would wish they had written this story.

At least it's somewhat entertaining, because as a documentary, it is of no value whatsoever and very poorly done. Its contents have no merit at all.Movie comment on Akibiyori
