With Roger Deakins cinematography, good story, and prime Val Kilmer and Sam Shepard acting with a good supporting cast, you’d think this movie would get more play.
If this had been made by Michael Mann or William Friedkin in his prime this movie would have been incredible. Clunky cringe inducing dialogue, bad acting, and watching main characters make stupid decision after stupid decision was too much to look past for a couple of good looking sequences.

Criminally underrated, simple story and plot but well written and executed wonderfully. It is a very sweet loving story.Movie comment on Still of the Night

Underrated, great atmosphere, nice dream sequence, Streep is always wonderful and I personally love Scheider. Good film.Movie comment on Triple Frontier

Not bad, but could've been great. It had no style and too many twists. Gun-play was well done, though.Movie comment on Post-Haste

Rather good music documentary, the extremely shallow depth of field for most the movie gave it an intimate feel.Movie comment on Just Pals
