I find it funny that you typically dislike documentaries because you like narratives, but the documentary is literally about the lack of narratives in real life. Haha.

It's a fun movie. Completely made from the beginning about focusing on our perceptions of truth and how we can all be led down the rabbit hole to a dead end. Even when the only thing staring us in the face is that there is no narrative. There are only a bunch of people with their own emotions, motivations, and stories that lead to an extremely entertaining tale.

Saw a pre-screening and it was actually pretty funny. Short and to the point. Doesn't waste time with a bunch of story that the viewers obviously aren't there to see.

I hope this isn't an offense to the previous poster, but I wouldn't recommend following that as a guide for this movie. I don't feel much of a mystery element in the movie since I feel we know the characters so well (and the acting is so amazing) that we already know what's in their hearts. Hearing them say it is just one of the most painful things I've seen in a movie in awhile. Really amazing. Best of the year, IMO.

Saw this as part of Sundance USA. Think it's going to do pretty well when Focus releases it!

I think what made this movie interesting is the underdevelopment of the characters. If you're in the mood for a truly "different" movie, I'd recommend it. Nothing I'd see again. Some weird scripting and acting. Probably not even a best of the year, but noteworthy enough that I'll probably remember it for awhile. Well done.

Horrible script. Waste of good talent. That pretty much sums it up.

Obviously not his best comedic film, but still love that speech at the end. Funny how it still completely resonates today, yet no one is listening.

Saw it in Ann Arbor. Yeah, pretty good movie. Without the cast the movie is nothing. I'm surprised it's getting such good reviews so far. It was fairly middle of the road, in my opinion, but still enjoyable.

Saw this at Sundance USA in Ann Arbor, MI. Great movie! Can't wait for it's wide release. Probably will reach a larger audience than any other McCarthy moviess.
