I watched this alone, and sober. And yeah, it was pretty bad. A few good musical moments and funny scenes, but these are pretty few and far between - even though I felt that the film improved in the last 30 minutes or so. Also notable for extended cameos by Ringo Starr and Keith Moon.
Flawed as hell in some minor respects, but stunningly brilliant in all of the important ones. "Oh, I've got the prettiest mother, I tell everyone I've got the nicest mother...."
