This is great news regarding the unlimited lists since creating lists here is a breeze compared to IMDb. Extra search results are a welcome change too.
I do sort of wonder though what are the advantages of having a Premium account now...
and the instant award works like a charm! And I for one am not cancelling my paid account as of yet. Concerning the extra worth of a paid subscription now, Is it really worth the price?
@sol: There may be fewer advantages to having a premium account, but I'm not going to cancel now that I already have one. I can see why it may deter someone from paying in the future, but I'd like to contribute to the continued development of the site even if all premium features end up becoming available for free users.
Great! I really missed instant awards and now can't wait to see instant rankings too. Does this mean there will be no more activity notifications regarding awards?
I'm especially glad to be able to sort & filter search results as a free member. Makes it easier to find the one from that director or released that year among movies with similar titles. :)
I fear that this is going to lead to an explosion of more low quality lists, in addition to any good quality lists it may generate. What is being done to moderate and get rid of lists like "Movies I've seen" or "Movies I like"?
(Seeing has how the former is the whole purpose of the site, and the latter is what "Favorites" is for, neither of which merits a personal list.)
