I don't agree with all the hatred for this movie. It's not the best superhero movie but I have seen a lot worse. I did enjoy Colin Farrell's performance.
A lot of the scenes in Daredevil seem like they'd be good in principle, but they feel like rough cuts that are not finished. Everything *almost* works. For a hero and villain who seem so over-the-top, it's hard to see how it all came off as being so dull.
I'm starting to wonder if I'm the only guy in the whole wide world who thinks this is a cool movie. I don't see what's so wrong with Ben Affleck in this.
A much underrated superhero movie, it's dark and gritty and follows the plots from the comics very well. Good action, with Bullseye being a major draw, but Jennifer Garner's Elektra too. The Director's Cut adds a half-hour that plugs all the plot holes in the original release, but also changes a few key moments to make Daredevil even more of a hard luck hero. Both are recommended separately.
This is what happens when movie makers try to get easy money through random super hero movies. They spawn a disaster. This movie had a weak story, bad performances and too many cheesy dialogs.

The theatrical cut is a terrible movie. The director's cut is much better, though still quite flawed. I actually enjoyed the director's cut.Jaqo
