I watched movies sporadically, just like on TV or if someone else near me was watching, until I saw the "Pirates of the Caribbean: The Curse of the Black Pearl". It literally changed my life. From that point on I started watching as many movies as I could, starting with Johnny Depp's filmography. To this day I list "The Pearl" among my favourite films, even though I have watched so so many undoubtedly better ones. It's a favourite for sentimental reasons - it was my gateway to the magic that is cinema. Also, I'm still very much in love with the Captain...
