This movie is well created.
It is such a Quintin Tartintino film.
Brad Pitt is the best person for the film.
Its just a funny war movie and its just also indescribable .
The "Bear Jew" is awesome with the B-ball bat.

Having absolutely no clue of what this next Tarantino-installment would bring, it really made me love the theater again! What a cascade of sublime moments one after the other! From the almost 15 minutes dialogue-intro, all the way to the grand finale (certainly 'the woods'-scene). Truly back on top of his game, Tarantino sets the standard for a yet to be defined genre in wardrama. A remarkable piece of filmmaking from the hand of a man who fortunately understands the business all the way down to what is sincerely a lust for the eye!
Thumbs up!

I only made it through the 1st hour. Slow to start, exaggerated, in a very Tarantino style. Unquestionably an unpopular opinion, but this movie isn't my cup of tea.

I don't get it, I just don't get it. I thought this movie was absolutely dreadful. I think if you took away the lure of Tarantino and the pull of Brad Pitt many more would see this movie for what it is - juvenile rubbish which i'd put in the same category as the Scary Movie series. It was also easily Brad Pitt's worst performance I can remember.

The positives: Simple; Christopher Waltz. One of the single greatest performances from any actor in recent years. So good that it almost made up for the rest of this contrived rubbish. It's also beautifully set, I absolutely loved the opening scene but it was all downhill from there.

In all honesty, unless you're a teenage boy under the age of 16 I can't for the life of me understand how this movie would appeal to anyone. It was so idiotic it was almost offensive. And looking at all the plaudits this film received and all the reputable lists this film appears on almost makes me lose hope :)

i think it is a bit overrated...the second half was more of tarantino style..while the first half was slow...and a lot of tribute scenes to all the european movies...
the music was brilliant....tht's quite obivious when you have ennio morricone on board....
the best part was the theatre scene...
i was dissapointed because the narration of the entire movie chapterwise was adapted (you can see tht a lot in godard's movies...)
tarantino could have done much better.....

If I knew I would be reading subtitles for 2.5 hours straight, I would have picked up a book instead.
