I thought that Project Dawn would have a part 3, but it has not. Well, not directly. The story starts in S-Africa and has an excellent plot. More intrigues, more women, plenty of killing.
Mooie, goede film. Goed in beeld gebracht, spannend met voldoende plotwendingen. Soms toch wel wat voorspelbaar, de film houdt zich netjes aan de spelregels van een thriller, met op tijd een plotwending. Het einde had open kunnen blijven voor eventueel een deel 2, dat zou leuk zijn geweest.

I liked it, best things have been said already. I don't understand why people do not search for valuables when crossing casualties. Why leave all the arrows behind, maybe you can use them again.

And there could also be a little bit of truth be hidden somewhere in the story.

I thought it was a good story, it tells the truth about what the tv channels want to broadcast and what not. Sport is more important then slaughtered people. Indeed Casaubon, it might be propaganda, but the important thing is what you do with it.
It is a very good fun-movie, with the best steel cable and the first fault on wheels. Also really hard asphalt in Brazil, not one scratch on the surface of the road.

Read the comic books before you watch the film. It is hard to recognize the characters when you are used to the comic-books. The story is good and strong. The translation to the movie was very good.
Maybe a US citizen can understand why someone is prepared to give his life for a golden eagle, which was stolen from his father years ago in a foreign country. This kind of patriotism is close to stupidity or an attempt of suicide.
I also didn´t get the `big` fightscene, where a group of fit and trained young men with light armour are fighting against a group of old men (who have missed at least ten years of training and fighting experience, because they were cowards and took up farming (and lost that golden eagle)) and the old guys would won this time.
Oh, sorry if I spoiled the plot. Also, the good guy has badl wound on his leg, but since he is the good guy, well you know what happens next.
I thought this was a Spielberg movie.
I liked it, although in the end I thouoght is was a Disney-movie. And I didn't like the kids, screaming and yelling so loud. Why do kids have to do that. Isn't there a director who can order them to shut up. The screams were a bit over the top. For the rest, don't take it too seriously, just enjoy a night at the movies.
