@Dieguito: City of God, I think, was released after this list was compiled.
And Brazilian Cinema lacks tradition because of the poor press coverage - actually, there is a clear lack of interest on non English speaking films in general, not only brazilian ones. I might've misunderstood your phrasing, but there are many brazilian films whose lack of recognition is not due their quality, but due "world" cinema (I hate this expression) boycott.

A touching, funny, complex, bittersweet masterpiece. I adore both previous films and this one is on pair with them, which is saying a lot.
One great thing about them is how these three films looks like the same at first, but because their characters are so fascinating, complex and change throught each individual film and through the trilogy this thought is left behind.
Genius work and I hope we get surprised nine years from now!

Congrats on your babies and marriage, guys. Great lists added. Maybe on the next update there will be some Latin America related ones as well, huh?
