superb shots, comes close to capturing that feeling of paranoia (but polanski will always be the master of that) but the transformation of the husband happens too quick so it does not hold. the movie definitely needs a solid 20-25 minutes to flesh somethings out.

The guy finds out that the protagonist is brainwashed but lets him go to a honeymoon. Then just dismantles the conditioning simply saying "you are free". ooook....
Alltogether this is a failed movie. It could be much, much better. If you want good paranoid political thrillers, watch pakula. especially parallax view.
