Can you even believe how Iconic™ this film would've been had they not pulled that ridiculous twist at the end.

Very good but terribly historically incorrect.

Throughout the entire film you get the feeling that director, Ole Christian Madsen, has watched Requiem for a Dream one time too many.

One of Soderbergh's best, would definitely recommended. The plot twist is absolutely genius.

Astounded as to why this isn't featured in the 2010's list. It is definitely in the top three best films of 2012, and it also definitely makes the list of my favourite films of all time.

I don't understand what's wrong about the director wanting to make his audience cry when watching his film, the tsunami was absolutely horrifying and he portrayed this devastating disaster decently.

The real downside about this film is the poor amount of focus on the ones who were hit hardest: the locals. It almost merely focuses on the tourists who were struck, but the numbers of locals who died exceeded the number of tourists by far. The locals are being portrayed as helpers of all the poor, rich, white people and for every injured thai you see, you'll see four injured white people.

Tom Holland is the absolute star of this film, his performance is better than anyone else, even that of Naomi Watts who also do a terrific job.

Wonderful film, not at all what you expect it to be - so much better.

How anyone can say that this film was boring? I was entertained throughout the entire movie and I sobbed like a little child at the end. Really wonderful film, depicting loneliness very well.

Became real bad when it was revealed that Will Smith and Charlize Theron were immortal and had lived for 3000-some years. Would have changed much about the storyline myself, it had potential to be a much better film than it became.

It's English title "A Royal Affair" should be added.

A Royal Affair was a real great film, considering it's Danish with a Danish cast it is actually impressive how good it is. The cast delivers great performances, Mads Mikkelsen yet again show off his wonderful acting skills, Alicia Vikander is quite lovely as Caroline Mathilde although she needs to learn how to pronunciate (which is possible, even with a Swedish/English accent), the real pearl of this film is Mikkel Boe Foelsgaard who's captivating Christian the 7th brilliantly with passion and life. I doubt an Academy Award nomination will come his way for this part, but he surely is the future of Danish Cinema.

When you have the opportunity to cast Kristen Wiig in a film of yours, ALWAYS MAKE HER THE LEAD. It just makes the film 50% better.

Anywho, apart from the disturbing lack of Kristen Wiig (who should do more dramas because she was so golden in this film) and Jon Hamm, the film wasn't very special. It's a good attempt but it kinda failed and turned out not-so-funny.

Wonderful performance by Deneuve which really shows just how amazing an actress she is. Not the best Polanski film though.

If only they'd had a bigger budget when making this film it would have been absolutely excellent. It still is rather amazing and I agree about the details, it's what makes it worth watching.

It's rather sad, because the first half is so terrific, but the end is a hell of a time-wasting mess.

Overrated, definitely. But the story is great and both McAdams and Gosling delivers amazing performances.

Too much focus on the dementia which really is too bad when you're making a biopic on one of the biggest figures in politics ever. Meryl Streep didn't disappoint me though.

It's in the Horror list? But it wasn't scary ...

The 'fuck meeeeee' ruined it for me, after that I broke out in uncontrolable laughter whenever I saw Regan. I definitely think that it's overrated as a horror movie, I didn't find it scary just somewhat gross when she pukes.

It was sweet and great, but not my favourite Fincher movie. Cate Blanchett is so incredibly gorgeous, but that's nothing new.

What's with all the dislike? I found this movie absolutely brilliant, the far best of Clooney's movies. It was thrilling, the acting was good and the plot was very fine too.
