Awful - a hackneyed script with cliched shock tactics. This director has suffered a catastrophic loss of form. It is now 12 years since he made a reasonable film, namely 'The Village'. Definitely not a comeback film. Apparently he shot it in secret - he should have kept it that way.
I have to agree with others here - it is a totally vile film. Falls into the common cliche of victims making dumb decisions. Jack O'Connell does excel at playing a total shit though.
