Good performances, beautiful cinematography (seriously, the scene where they drive into the field is stunning), and yet it's somewhat lackluster. I'm not disappointed but I'm not amazed.
Could have done without the modern Wally in NY (seriously her scenes were dragging and the actress wasn't that great), but overall this film is worth seeing if only for the cinematography, acting (by the two leads playing Wallis and Edward) and costume design.
The monsters were very good looking, and the house was absolutely gorgeous- but the child was annoying as hell, the dad was annoying as hell, and everyone was so stupid they almost deserved to be eaten.
