This film is FANTASTIC. Best Wolfgang P by far, and best submarine film by far. In fact, I think it's one of the greater war films. Like All Quiet on the Western Front, it humanizes the German WW2 experience. A grand and fantastic film. War affects the soul of every soldier.

This movie is hilarious, but it is markedly better when watched with OTHER PEOPLE, especially while drinking/smoking. A hell of a lot of fun if viewed while under the correct circumstances.

No, all religions are not like Scientology. That is made abundantly clear in the documentary- as well as in observed life.

Too unpleasant and simplistic to sit through, even at only 70 minutes. The photography and cricket sounds are beautiful at first, but quickly lose their appeal as the movie plods on.

I was really really bored, but then again I'm jaded. They should've done more with the theme of grief. Atmosphere was iight. Too many annoying jump scares and horror cliches.

Movies that think they have all the answers to life's questions piss me off. This film thinks it's much smarter than it actually is.

Not that bad. People would do better to stop comparing it to Silence. It isn't as good, but it's competently written, well-acted, enticing, and very disturbing.

Great for the gore. The huge plot holes are also fun to notice. It is very Cronenberg, but of course Cronenberg is much, much better.

Though it was funny and clever, my issue with this movie is that everything seems to go well in it. She gets the gig with no problem, and then everything just goes perfectly from there. This undermines the central message. Life doesn't go perfectly very often, and when it does, it certainly shouldn't be in a movie--that's what plot is for: problems, conflict, strife.

Seriously, just skip the Spielberg segment.

Great soundtrack. Personally, I thought the first half was terrific, and the second half derivative and stupid.

Fascinating and always entertaining. For seasoned film viewers.

Incredibly bizarre, sometimes poignant, and alternately pleasant and unpleasant. I wish Gilliam had been more involved.

More people should see this. It's a hipster movie, but a fairly good one. The dialogue isn't always perfect, but it is certainly unique and highly relate-able most of the time. It might remind you of the way your own friends talk.

I thought it was a terrific film; only thing that bothered me was all the "b-roll" of the car driving everywhere all over the desert; it got boring and distracted from the central themes. Kiarostami has done better in "Close-Up" and "Certified Copy".

More people should see this film! A very funny tribute to / parody of Bergman. A comedy for the sophisticated art film connoisseur (super duper for you)

Really incredible action sequences and choreography. Very, very violent. Probably one of the most violent movies I've ever seen. It tries to be the "Godfather" of modern martial arts. Tries. Comes close. In terms of action, maybe it wins... in terms of drama, probably not.

Excellent idea for a film, but not very well executed. A lot of holes are left unexplained, most of the dialogue is very poor, and the ending is a huge disappointment.

More gory than scary, and what bothers me is that a lot of the gore is unnecessary. Many kills could easily have been avoided by the mad-woman in the movie, and in fact avoiding the kills would've made her job easier. But for the sake of shock-value and disturbing areas to stab people with scissors, they weren't. I don't think this is a very worthwhile film.

A very important film. It asks questions that are often avoided. It is important to put yourself in the shoes of both parties.

Yeah I know I don't have the patience to figure out how to take it off since it got added to one

Thought it was just terrible, bottom of the barrel. Awful, sophomoric dialogue, poor acting, thin and easily deconstructed political and philosophical allegories. An original idea, though. Very original. At least there's innovation somewhere. I'm cool with all downvotes.

You know... I'm halfway through this, and so far I'm just loving it in all its mediocrity.
