Good film, interesting subject matter. It's basically a conglomeration of portrayals that are well executed, but it isn't particularly well balanced. For example, its mentioned several times that the non haves aspire to become wealthy or at least to have the illusion of wealth, but they are mostly not in the film... And because this is lacking, the attempt at broader cultural analysis kinda falls flat... But then again, maybe the point of the film is just to show that wealthy does not imply happy, and apparently having kids does ;)
The first 10 minutes feels like a bad episode of MTV Cribs, but after that it becomes a pretty well made, critical reflection on the character and legacy of Berlusconi. There are huge lighting issues in pretty much every shot which was annoying and distracting...
Its ironic that a documentary about the dangerous world of biased information, fails to present any of the positive aspects of social media.
What is completely lacking in this film, is a discussion about concrete steps that can be taken on a societal and enforceable level. The EU is the only geo political entity that has given tech giants any form of significant push back in the last twenty years (GDPR, right to be forgotten,...), I don't understand why this wasn't at least mentioned. Instead, the last part of the film is a ramble on how social media is causing the end of days, and how turning of your notifications is going to change this...
Also, can we stop putting fictionalized subplots in documentaries? Thank you!

Looks like a Tarkovsky movie in cinematography, pacing and use of color... but also in the sense that plot is absent in most of the scenes :)Movie comment on Generation Wealth

Largely incoherent and a bit pretentious. I think people confuse being confused by the film, as a proof of it being an intelligent/good film...
